I just wanted to let you all know how well the Pride of Texomaland Marching Band represented our school and our community this Saturday at the Stallion Battalion Marching Invitational in Oologah, OK.  We competed with bands from class size 2A-5A and from Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri.

 

We marched in Class 3A however, we usually march 2A, but I wanted to challenge the students and they definitely met the challenge head on! They placed 3rd in Class 3A and the drumline got the caption award for Best Drumline in 3A!!!

 

I am very proud of the students and all of their hard work! If you would congratulate them when you see them, they deserve all the recognition and support they can get! This Saturday we are going to the Chickasaw Invitational Marching Competition in Tishomingo and we hope to have as many of you there to cheer us on as possible. We perform at 3:45pm!! Hope to see you there!
