            On March 29-31, Kingston High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America took a trip to Stillwater for a statewide competition. FCCLA is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences education in public and private school through grade 12. Students Jolie Jackson 9th grade and Mariah Jones, 9th grade competed in the star event Entrepreneurship, Carter Moore, 9th grade competed in the star event Food Innovations and Alex Countryman, 10th grade competed in Child Care and Teachers Aide and placed first. STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition) are competitive events in which members are recognized for proficiency and achievement in chapter and individual projects, leadership skills, and career preparation.
