HealthCorps is a national nonprofit founded by Dr. Mehmet Oz to create a healthier generation of young people. Kingston students have a unique opportunity to participate in the HealthCorps Living Labs program. Through HealthCorps, and with the financial support of the Chickasaw Nation, a recent college graduate with a passion for health and wellness has been placed in Kingston High School to carry out unique in-school programming. Using peer mentoring to deliver a progressive curriculum in nutrition, fitness, and mental strength, the Kingston High School HealthCorps Coordinator empowers our students and our community to make healthier choices. Kingston HealthCorps Coordinator, Gabriella Mendez, hosts
a club meeting every Wednesday at lunch for all students to get involved in making Kingston a healthier community. For more information email Ms. Mendez at gabriella.mendez@healthcorps.org.
