2nd Grade Teacher
I graduated from Kingston High School in 2006, Go Skins! After high school i went to Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Ok for 2 years. I loved my time at OBU, but i got home sick so I came home and went to SOSU in Durant. I graduated from SOSU in 2012.
I have a bachelors degree in Science. I am certified to teach early childhood and elementary education.
Last year (2014-2015) was my first year teaching, before that I was an assistant for 2nd grade at Kingston for two years. I learned so much from the wonderful 2nd grade teachers during my time as an assistant. I am so grateful for those two years. I absolutely love teaching 2nd grade!
I come from a big family. I am one of nine. I have four brothers and four sisters, and a ton of nieces and nephews. I love my big family! They are very loud and a little crazy, but i wouldnt have it any other way. I talk about my family a lot because they are my fvaorite people and i love to brag on them! I dont have any children of my own, but when people ask me, "do you have any children?" I always say, " yes, around 20, I'm a teacher!"
When I'm not at the school teaching or working in my classroom, you can find me at home reading! I'm a home body and I love to read. I'm also a huge baseball fan, my favorte place in the world is the Rangers ballpark in Arlington! Go Rangers!
