Kingston Inducts New Members to NHS

National Honor Society involves four criteria: scholarship, leadership, service and character. The KHS students who have excelled in these areas were inducted into Kingston’s National Honor Society on March 25. Those introduced included the following:
Sophomores: Rachel Adams, Kayli Bolay, Jazmine Branch, Conner Brister, Breanah Burnett, Jimmie Carlile, Payton Dial, Jarod Droddy, Jacob Fox, Jenna French, Jacob Germany, Lexie Grandstaff, Trey Haggerty, Jewell Henry, Trinity Holland, Trey Keatts, Shelbee Kite, Stewart McCuan, Kobe McDonald, Braden McGehee, Renee Mireles, JC Nelson, Ellie Nickel, Matthew O’Steen, Brooklyn Pettie, Olivia Pettyjohn, Angel Reynolds, Marissa Townsend, Garrette Voyles, RJ Weeks, and Jacob Whipkey; Juniors: Tanner Blanchard, Stoney Lowe, Aaron Mcconnell, Zac Meeks, Kes Reeves, and Senior Shelby Moore.
These students raised their right hand and pledged themselves as members into the Kingston chapter of NHS. They are expected to be role models for everyone around them, as well as partake in activities that could better the community. Kingston NHS sponsor Blake Tubbs, feels optimistic, “We have a lot of new, young members that are enthusiastic about the future of our program which should keep our program heading in the right direction.”
