Kingston Communications Class
Jacob Germany, a 6”10 sophomore at Kingston High School, not only plays basketball for Kingston, but he also plays for a team out of Oklahoma City called Team Griffin. His team travels all over the United States to play ball. They have played in Arkansas, New Mexico and will soon be playing in Indiana and Nevada where he will meet Blake Griffin for the first time. In Las Vegas, the team will play at a tournament called Elite Youth Basketball Team (EYBL) where there will be a lot of Division 1 scouts there.
Jacob already has colleges looking at him. He loves playing for this team and liking his teammates makes it that much better for him. When Jacob tried out for the team, there were about 250 kids who tried out and only 13 made it.
When asked how he feels about playing for Team Griffin, he answered “I am very blessed and thankful for the opportunity to get to play for this team.” Jacob’s parents are Stacy and Justin Germany.
